Samantha is the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at the leading distance learning organization; Open Study College. Having been nominated for and various awards and accolades, the past 12 months have been particularly notable for Open Study College. In 2017, it celebrated its 10th year anniversary, and has since grown from strength to strength, showing promise and potential in the upcoming future. They were also named Further Education College of the Year 2017 at the Education Awards.

Julian Beer

Julian leads on the University’s Research, Enterprise and Business Engagement strategy, forging links between business and higher education. He was previously Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Plymouth University with responsibility for Regional Enterprise and Professor of Knowledge Transfer. Julian has extensive experience of the private sector, as well as transferring higher education knowledge into commercial or public policy outcomes. As leader of its strategy on business and employer engagement, Julian strengthens Birmingham City University’s connection with the City and region. He leads on research, innovation and knowledge exchange development, together with expanding commercial activities.

Ammar Hussain Jaffri

Ammar Hussain Jaffri has over 40 years of experience in Governance, Digital Forensics, Information Technology, Security and Education. He has served and lead different departments in the Federal Government of Pakistan and has been recognized with some of the highest industry honours in Pakistan as well as internationally.

Colonel (R) Azam Qadri

Colonel (R) Azam Qadri was born at Lahore, Pakistan and had his schooling from Lawrence College. Graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy in 1969 and served for 25 years in all key appointments in the Pakistan Army and three years Command of a Tank Regiment in the Saudi Defence Forces. He is the Chairman of Define Group of companies, which deals in the alternative energy sector as well as setting up new hydro-electric dams. He has the distinction of being the only Military Biographer and Historian in Pakistan, having authored eight books and contributes for the journals and newsprint globally.
